Toshiba AC100-114 – The New Smartbook

Toshiba plans to submit its new smartbook called Toshiba AC100-114 Notebook, in the near future. The model is built on the platform of NVIDIA Tegra. It will work under the Android 2.1 Eclair, but not Windows 7 or Windows XP. As the main technical characteristics of AC100-114, they are as follows: 10.1-inch display, processor Tegra T20, 512 GB of RAM, SSD 16 GB hard drive, card reader for memory cards SDHC, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Ethernet 10/100.

This latest netbook from Toshiba is quite compact: its dimensions are 26,2 x18, 9×1 ,4-2, 1 cm, and weight – 0,9 kg. Includes 3-cell battery 2200 mAh. However, according to Toshiba, it can work in standalone mode only 4-5 hours. This is probably the main negative of this model. On the other hand, do not forget that it is built on the platform, Tegra, so playback 1080p video for her no problem. It is unclear when and at what price will be launched in the sale of this model.
