For those who don’t know, the car carries a 1.5-liter i VTEC 4-cylinder engine which delivers 102 hp and an electric motor capable to deliver 20 hp. This means that the car has a total output of 122 hp and 128 lb-ft. of torque at 1,000 to 1,500 rpm (123 lb-ft on CVT-equipped models).
The new CR-Z will be available in two equipment grades: the well-equipped CR-Z (base) and the feature-rich CR-Z EX.
The base model includes standard features such as AM/FM/CD/USB audio system with six speakers, automatic climate control, power windows and door locks, remote entry, cruise control, and more whole the CR-Z comes with some extra add-ons such as 360-watt AM/FM/CD high-power audio system with seven speakers – including a subwoofer – Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, leather-wrapped steering wheel and more.
The CR-Z EX is also available with Honda’s Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition2. Safety features include the standard dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags; standard front-side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); side-curtain airbags; active head restraints; an anti-lock braking system; a tire pressure monitoring system; and a pedestrian injury mitigation design in the front of the vehicle.
If you want more, for the Honda CR-Z fitted with the CVT transmission you have to pay $19,850. The Honda CR-Z EX with 6-speed manual transmission is offered for $20,760 while the model fitted with the CVT transmission will go on sale for $21,410. The CR-Z EX with Navi and fitted with a manual transmission will be offered for $22,560 while the model fitted with the CVT transmission will go on sale for $23,210.
